John F.X. Fenerty, Jr., Esquire is a skilled civil trial lawyer who has been trying personal injury cases on a regular basis since entering private practice in 1993. Mr. Fenerty is the founder of The Fenerty Personal Injury Law Firm.
Mr. Fenerty was born in Philadelphia, and raised in Philadelphia, Jenkintown, and Margate, New Jersey. Attorney Fenerty graduated from the Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1992, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and the Vice President of the Environmental Law Society.
Before entering private practice, Attorney Fenerty served judicial clerkships in the Pennsylvania Superior Court and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Fenerty served as a judicial law clerk to following judges: the Honorable Charles B. Smith, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Honorable Vincent A. Cirillo, President Judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, and the Honorable Tullio Gene Leomporra, Chief United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Following his judicial clerkships, Mr. Fenerty was employed as civil trial counsel by the personal injury law firms of Joseph R. Livesey & Associates, and Martin J. Silverstein & Associates in Center City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Fenerty is happily married with two children.
